Hello! I’m Marc Drumm, a Senior Instructional Designer in the Teaching & Learning Center at West Chester University. I’ve worked in higher education for over 20 years, and I specialize in online course design, training faculty to build and facilitate online courses, integrating technology into educational environments, and web design and development. I’m also Principal Investigator for The Pennsylvania Alliance for Design of Open Textbooks (PA-ADOPT), a grant-funded program that teaches faculty how to build free and open electronic textbooks for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Health (STEM-H) and high-enrollment Writing courses.

West Chester University

Leads instructional design, technology integration, and application development projects, and recommends new elearning technology. Provides pedagogical consulting and design assistance to faculty developing and revising online and blended courses. Offers face-to-face and online training on elearning tools, instructional design, and online pedagogy. Manages the office's team of Associate Instructional Designers.

Collaborated and consulted with faculty on the effective use of instructional design strategies, web-based resources, elearning technologies, and LMS for online course development. Planned, developed, and facilitated training workshops on best practices for online instruction and use of elearning technology tools. Conducted pilot studies of new elearning tools for use in online courses.
